Welcome to Cornerstone

Carl R. Trueman, Pastor

We trust that you’ll find this website to be a helpful resource whether you’re checking us out as a visitor, a member here at Cornerstone, or just trying to figure out who Jesus is. As you look around you’ll see that the Cornerstone family is a diverse group of people who share a strong desire to love God with all that is in us. We seek to respond to God's revelation in Jesus Christ in faith, to show love towards those around us and to share with others the great news that in Christ, God has been gracious and merciful to us, in Him we find freedom and forgiveness and that the path of life is clear with Jesus as our Lord and Savior.

Join us every week for worship
at 11 a.m. and 6 p.m.

Join our pastor Carl Trueman, Aimee Byrd (the Housewife Theologian) and Todd Pruitt, pastor of Covenant Presbyterian Church, Harrisonburg VA, for their podcast that is a lively discussion on things that matter. You can also find their blogposts at this same location.

Thomas Chalmers

Title: Thomas Chalmers
Author: Sandy Finlayson

This biography of Thomas Chalmer's brings to life and color one of the most influential stories of Scotland's past. Chalmers was distinctive among both the people and the church of Scotland in his day. Once he discovered the power of the gospel himself, its vision drove him to bring Christ's message into every part of society.
